Opening hours
During the summer months, from June through mid-September, the museum is open on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
On May 5, we are open from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Groups and schools by appointment.
On public holidays the museum is closed.

€5.00 per person, including a comprehensive guided tour led by an enthusiastic guide.

About the museum
The Regional Museum 1940-1945 of Schagen and its surroundings is located in the right castle tower of Schagen Castle. In the museum numerous interesting objects from the period of 1940-1945 which often relate to the surroundings of Schagen can be viewed. By means of an interesting tour from an enthusiastic guide of the museum you will learn a lot about the period of 1940-1945, especially about the area of Schagen and its surroundings.
